Editions, Requirements and Installation

The Bukkit edition is published as 1.0.3-bukkit-1.21.1, targets API 1.21 and uses Java 21. Install it in plugins. Optional integrations include Vault, LuckPerms, TAB, Multiverse-Core, Multiverse-Inventories, floodgate, Geyser-Spigot and PlaceholderAPI. The Bukkit edition does not declare Folia support.

A separate native Forge 1.20.1 edition targets Forge 47.4.23 and Java 17. Install that edition in mods; clients do not need the mod. Its data locations include serverconfig/dkconfig-server.toml and data/dkconfig.dat. Never mix the Bukkit JAR and Forge mod or copy configuration between editions without reviewing key differences.
